Brand Identity, UI & Design Systems for a Beauty Salon

I crafted the full brand identity, custom logo, and web UI for a cozy beauty salon, building a complete design system to keep everything feeling consistent. I also helped shape the gift card and appointment systems, contributing ideas and some development work to make them practical and visually on-brand.

While some parts of the website are still evolving, the visual identity and design system fully capture the warm, approachable experience I aimed to create.

Working Across Design and Development

I joined Rajasoft in late 2020 as a software developer, focusing on WordPress development and UI/UX design.

From the start, I was trusted with meaningful responsibilities and worked across multiple stages of website projects design, development, and refinement. Alongside my technical growth, I collaborated closely with the team and contributed to improving internal workflows and project outcomes.

Zoner Group – Vantaa, Finland

Role: GRAPHIC DESIGNER & WEB DEVELOPER

Expanding skills from design to full web solutions

In 2010, I transitioned from North Karelia University of Applied Sciences (Graphic Design program) to prepare for the founding of a new company. Verkkotaikurit Oy officially launched in early 2011, operating under the Zoner Group, which provides web hosting services.

My role initially focused on graphic design services and quickly expanded to include website development using the WordPress CMS. Over time, I also began working on more complex WooCommerce implementations.

Key Achievements

  • Developed lightweight, cost-effective websites using page builders with easy maintenance in mind.
  • Created and led a performance optimization service for WordPress sites, including sales and delivery.
  • Designed and laid out a variety of graphical materials, including logos, layouts and internal company assets (social media, sales material, banners etc etc).
  • Led development work for zoner.fi, verkkotaikurit.fi, and other internal sites at that time.
